Jesse Boateng (born 1 January 2004) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a Centre-back for Lillestrøm SK II.
Career
Youth
Jesse Booteng grew up in Oppsal, a community in Oslo. At the age of 7 years, he joined Oppsal IF Football and at 14 years, he was spotted and scouted by Lyn 1896 Football Club. At the age of 17, Jesse will be promoted to play for Lyn 1896's first team despite playing for the youth team.[1]
Jesse gained the attention of the Italian team S.P.A.L in 2021 and after extensive negotiations and an agreement between S.P.A.L and Lyn 1896, he joined the Italian U18 side of S.P.A.L.[2] As a member of the U18 team, Jesse won the 2021 Italian national league championship in his first year at S.P.A.L.[3]
