Jaya Kishori (born July 13, 1995) is an Indian spiritual orator, singer, motivational speaker, life coach, and social reformer known for her spiritual discourses and soulful bhajans.[1] With a captivating presence and a deep understanding of spirituality, she has garnered widespread recognition for her powerful speeches that often center around topics such as spirituality, morality, and pressing social issues.[2][3]

Early life and education

Jaya Kishori was born as Jaya Sharma in Sujangarh, Rajasthan, into a devout Hindu family. Her parents, Shiv Shankar Sharma and Geeta Devi Haritpal played an essential role in her upbringing by sharing spiritual stories and teachings. This early exposure to spirituality kindled her interest in the subject, prompting her to embark on a spiritual journey at age seven.

Growing up in Kolkata, India, she attended Shri Shikshayatan School. Later, she pursued higher education at Mahadevi Birla Vishwa Academy, graduating with a degree in Commerce.

At nine, she began singing and became well-versed in various spiritual songs, including "Lingashtakam," "Shiva Tandava Strota," "Madhurashtakamra," "Shiva Panchakshara Stotram," and "Daridraya Dahana Shiva Stotram.”[5]

Under the guidance of her guruji, Govind Ram Mishra, she started reciting the Sundarkand path, Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, and other religious texts. Her profound understanding of these scriptures and her ability to simplify complex spiritual concepts quickly drew attention. She was bestowed with the title of "Kishori" by her guruji, a name that has since become synonymous with her spiritual journey. Jaya Kishori holds unwavering faith in Khatu Shyam ji.[6]
