Jawal is a small village of 2647 hectares in Reodar Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jawal depends on SIROHI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 950.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Jawal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jawal's pin code is 307514[4], and village code is 02349900. The area of Jawal is segregated as 1179 hectares irrigated area, 486 hectares unirrigated, the 545 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 437 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sirohi to sell cement bricks and make their living.
