Jason Brink, is a businessman, blockchain theorist,[1] and cryptocurrency evangelist.[2] He currently resides in Vancouver, Canada.[1] He is currently the Chief Marketing Officer for Gala Games, a gaming platform which uses blockchain.[3]

Known in the cryptocurrency community with the moniker “Bitbender”.[4][2] His involvement in the cryptocurrency marketspace started in 2014 focusing on the use of Blockchain for the decentralization of various ecosystems. In 2014, he won the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation / Global Development Network Prize for the creation of the "AidDollar", a novel blockchain-based solution to solve the problems endemic to foreign aid.[4][2] He has previously been a technical writer and marketing consultant for several cryptocurrency projects, namely Experience Points (XP), Verge (XVG), and Reddcoin (RDD).[4]

He has also been involved in several blockchain-based virtual reality projects. He has worked as the project leader for Quoxent, a distributed ledger-based company focusing on solving problems in logistics tracking. [1]

Jason is an academic consultant. He is the founder of Plato Coaching, an academic consulting company in Canada, as well as Rubric Partners, a blockchain consulting company.[1]
