Jason Adam Williams is an American politician, musician, and writer from Queens, NY. He currently serves as a Youth Justice Representative for the NYS JJAG (New York State Juvenile Justice Advisory Group).[1]

Political Career

Jason Williams got his start in community activism when he was first arrested at age 16. In 2016, he entered a recidivism program directed by Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas.[2] It was thanks to this program that Jason Williams would find a reinvigorated love for Juvenile Justice. He continued to mentor and support other young people through a summer internship program [3] In 2017, Jason Williams was featured on an episode of local cable TV show "Christina's Corner" to give his views on several topics relating to the state of youth as a whole.[4] In 2018, Jason Williams was appointed by Governor Andrew Cuomo as a Youth Justice Representative in the state of New York. During his appointment, Jason Williams studied Psychology at University at Albany, SUNY

Musical Career

Jason Williams performs under the stage name IandI. As IandI, he has released two singles in 2018 that gained local notoriety. [5] He went to high school with fellow artist Chow Lee. Features and credits include Busta Rhymes, Benny the Butcher, Conway The Machine, Redman, and Method Man
