James McArthur is the President and Chief Compliance Officer at AG Morgan Financial Advisors, based in Massapequa, New York.[1] His duties there include financial planning, investments, and insurance.[2]
Early Life and Education
James attended Nassau Community College where he received an Associates Degree, and then went on to study at the University of Maryland.
Career
James started his career in finance in 1996 when he was a financial advisor with the firm Prudential Financial.
After this, in 2000, James went on to become the Director of Training for AXA Distributors in the Western Division.
Throughout his career, James has consistently ranked in the top 10% of sales managers, including both at is time with Prudential and MetLife Securities.
In 2007, James was appointed to the Executive Council, which is a group of the Top 25 sales managers in the nation.
Currently, James serves as the President and Chief Compliance Officer at AG Morgan Financial Advisors, where he specializes with financial planning, investments, and insurance. James holds his Series 7, 6, and 63 registrations, and the New York State License for Life and Health.
Philanthropy
In 2022, James launched the James McArthur Scholarship for Finance Students,[3] which provides scholarship funding for students who wish to become finance professionals in the future.[4][5][6]
