Jaden Persaud is an award-winning philanthropist from Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. He is known for his dedication and efforts in raising awareness and funds for research on Myeloproliferative Neoplasm (MPN), a rare blood cancer that his mother, Jessica Kuhns, was diagnosed with.
After his mother's cancer diagnosis, Jaden made it his "personal mission" to help those in need. In 2016, Jaden started his philanthropic organization, Persaud Industries (PSI). Jaden started collecting stuffed animals, sanitized them, and donated them to local Emergency Services and Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. Jaden also started online and in-person fundraisers to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. One of his most notable in-person fundraisers was "Lemonade for Leukemia". In 2018, Jaden was recognized as a "Bright Light" at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night walk in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for his fundraising efforts.
In December of 2018, Jaden was one of eight people across the country to receive the 2018 MPN Heroes Award presented by CURE Magazine and sponsored by Incyte to recognize patients, healthcare professionals, caregivers, and others who make a difference in the lives of people with MPNs. Jaden was honored in the "commitment to the individual" category and was the youngest to receive the award.

Jaden was nominated as a Candidate in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Student Visionaries of the Year Program in the Eastern Great Lakes region and has continued his philanthropic efforts.
Political Advocacy
Jaden in his Junior year of High School became the Chairman of the Pittsburgh High School Republican organization. In this position, he connected young conservatives from across Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. He aimed to unite and coordinate the efforts of teens who are interested in making a change with increased political advocacy.
Jaden was committed to changing the way that high school students think about conservatism and promoting the values and principles of the Republican Party.
In September of 2023, Jaden stepped down as Chairman and became the Youth Representative of the 17th Congressional District of Pennsylvania, aiming to help unify the community.
In October of 2023, Jaden became the President of Turning Point USA at Pine-Richland High School. As President, Jaden's mission is to educate students about the importance of fiscal responsibility, free markets, and limited government. Pine-Richland has yet to approve Turning Point, but that has not stopped the organization from spreading the word. Turning Point USA is NOT affiliated with any candidate or candidate's party.
