Early life and education

Moore was born in Houston, Texas, where he grew up in the Third Ward area which is a hotspot of criminal activity. Moore’s parents were severe drug addicts and had several run ins with the law which led to him becoming homeless by the age of 14. By this time his mother abandoned him and his father went to prison.

Moore even as a teenager was determined and focused. He worked several odd jobs in order to earn money and feed himself and his sister. Moore often lived, ate and slept on park benches, 24/7 restaurants or crashed at his friend’s place.

Even after facing such obstacles, Moore never dropped out of school and graduated from Jack Yates Senior High School in Houston. Soon after he pursued a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Texas Southern University.

Career

Moore was a fashion enthusiast from the very beginning, he began by sketching various designs of the clothing pieces he wanted to create inspired by the fashion industry ranging from the young, hip-hop crowd to the chic and fashionable.[4]

In 2005, Moore finally started his own clothing label named Isaac & Moore by investing his life long savings that he accumulated by doing various odd jobs. In order to raise more funds for his label, Moore came up with the idea to organise a local fashion show which broadcasted his talent and attracted investors.

In a decade’s time, Isaac & Moore developed into a luxury fashion and accessory brand under Moore’s leadership. Moore’s brand has been worn by a number of celebrities, supermodels and television personalities including Cynthia Bailey, Steve Harvey, Adrien Bronner, Ray J, Meek Mill, Megan Thee Stallion, Swae Lee, YFN Lucci and others.[5]

Moore’s campaign “Box Experiences” gained a lot of social media attention and attracted fashion loyalists from around the United States.[6]This campaign was highly acclaimed and paved a path for his upcoming collection which was recently released.[7]

Personal life

Moore grew up with his sister and is still close to her. Moore has a daughter named Taylor and he is currently single.
