Irena Cronin
Irena Cronin is an American futurist and entrepreneur. Her focus has been on Spatial Computing which includes the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Computer Vision, among other areas. She is the founder and CEO of Infinite Retina, a company which does research and consulting in Spatial Computing.[1][2] Infinite Retina was created in 2019 with its latest research on the current status of Augmented Reality and the growing area of Generative AI. Cronin was recently cited by Forbes on the topic of the Tesla Bot.[3]
Irena Cronin co-wrote The Infinite Retina[4][5][6][7] which focuses on Spatial Computing with Robert Scoble and has made it to several ltop technology book lists.[8][9][10][11][12] and is already included as required reading on course syllabuses of prestigious universities, including the University of Michigan and the University of Texas.[13][14] It was published by Packt Publishing in 2000. Cronin is writing a new book for Packt on the Metaverse which is slated for publication in December 2023.
