Ioannis Antypas (born 10 February 1997) is a Greek serial entrepreneur, investor, and author based in London, United Kingdom.[1][2] He is the founder of Jukkie Digital Agency, one of the fastest-growing digital studios in the city, and Workscan, an automated placement portal that helps students find placements and internships.

Antypas is a highly distinguished professional with extensive experience working in the digital space. The Antypas Group,[3] known for launching start-ups, has gained mass recognition in recent years and has built a diverse portfolio across multiple sectors.[4]

Antypas is also known for being the author of the Amazon best selling book, The Persuasive Marketer,[5] a book that aims at helping people tap into various tried and tested marketing strategies and scale their business.

Early life and education

Antypas was born on 10 February 1997 to Ilias Antypas and Lina Alkhalil in Aleppo, Syria. He grew up with three sisters and completed his primary education from Dimotiko Scholio Athinon, Athens, Greece. Later he enrolled in the Gymnasium Athens High School, Athens, Greece. When Antypas was fifteen years old he migrated to London, United Kingdom, and continued high school at Greek Secondary School of London, an Independent School that follows the Greek curriculum. In 2012, he switched to an English high school and attended Ark Elvin Academy formerly known as Copland High School. In 2015, Antypas enrolled at Uxbridge College,[6] where he acquired triple distinction stars in Information & Creative Technology and Cybercrime & Security, respectively. In 2018, Antypas went to the University of West London to pursue his bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management for Business, graduating in 2021 with a First Class Honours degree.

Since he was a kid, Antypas has been inclined towards working and contributing financially to his family as well as being independent. He began working when he was eight years old, doing odd jobs such as selling water bottles and sweets in school. He would buy bicycles from the scrap yard, refurbishing, and selling them. When Antypas was 15 years old, he began publishing mobile gaming apps under Minatrox, and two years later also started importing & exporting.[7]

Career

Antypas began his professional career in 2018, as an IT business analyst for Sham Market. After a year he switched to Milano Stone, where he served as a business data analyst for over a year.[8]

In 2016, when Antypas was 19 years old, began his entrepreneurial journey with the establishment of Jukkie Digital Agency, one of the fastest-growing design agencies in London. Under his leadership, Jukkie Digital Agency has become a Google partner and won multiple awards for innovation and creativity.

Since 2017, Antypas has also been involved in investing in real estate, especially restaurants across London. As of 2022, he has leveraged his digital agency to further expand this business, supporting multiple medium to large-scale businesses which resulted in high growth turnovers.

When Antypas was 23 years old, he published his first book titled 'The Persuasive Marketer' which went on to become number one best seller on Amazon. In 2021, he started yet another venture - Workscan which is an AI-powered industrial placement portal that has received the backing of Westmont Hub and the University of West London.[9]

He's also been on TV, radio, and publications such as Middle Eastern TV, Hala London,[10] the Gazette daily, Vigilantes Radio Live, Culture Sway, and BBC's Share Radio,[11] hosted by Sue Dougan - sharing his expertise as a business and marketing professional.

Awards

Antypas is the recipient of the Best Functional Skills Student Award at the Uxbridge College Annual Award ceremony.

Personal life

Antypas is the great-grandson of Marinos Antypas,[12] one of the first Greek socialists. He is trilingual - fluent in English, Greek, and Arabic.
