Mohammed Ijaas better known by his stage name Ijaaz Ebrahim is an Indian film actor and producer who works predominantly in Malayalam-language cinema. He made his acting debut through the romantic successful movie Kismath directed by Shanavas K Bavakutty starring Shane Nigam in the lead role in 2016.

In 2019 Ijaaz joined hands with actor Harisree Ashokan and played the lead character named Krishnan in An International Local Story, the directorial debut of Harisree Ashokan. the semi-negative role Krishnan made the audiences recognise him.

His newly owned production company named The Next Film Productions is now producing their first project named Oru Typical Kamukan which is directed by Suhail Shaji, and releasing in 2022.

Career

Ijaaz started his career as an online media promoter in Malayalam films.[2] His biggest dream was to become an actor. Working as an online media promoter made him to have close friendships from Malayalam Film Industry and that lead him to fulfil his dream. He begin his career as an actor in 2016 through the State Award winning movie Kismath directed by Shanavas K Bavakutty. and later in 2019 he played one of the leading character named Krishnan,[3] the younger version of Tini Tom in the movie An International Local Story which is the directorial debut of veteran actor turned director Harisree Ashokan. His upcoming movies are Prathi Pranayathilanu, Oru Typical Kamukan and an untitled project directed by Suhail Shaji. He also appeared in several short films like Paisa, Sunday, Otta and Pain of lust.[4]

In addition, Ijaaz is the chairman and founder of The Next Film Productions,[5] a Malayalm film production and distribution company based in Kochi. Their first production is upcoming Malayalam movie Oru Typical Kamukan which is directed by new comer Suhail Shaji and hoped to be release in 2022.[6][7]
