Iga Węglińska is a Polish multidisciplinary designer and researcher who specializes in Fashion technology and product design.

About

Iga Węglińska regards clothing as a sculpture, which is carried by the human body. Her field of interest is clothing experience. Her design process is focused on the form, as well, as the emotions that evoked when wearing it.

Besides of work as a designer in her own design studio located in Poznań, Poland (est. 2014) Iga Węglińska is also a scientist – she holds a PhD in Design[1], leads a Fashion Design Studio[2] at the Design Department Academy of Art in Stettin.

Her works have been presented on museums and various exhibitions in Europe[3][4][5], Asia, USA and published by Designboom[6] [7], I-D, Fast Company[8], Not Just a Label, Elle (magazine).
