Iftekhar Rafsan, known as Rafsan the Chotobhai, is a Bangladeshi YouTube personality from Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is well known for food vlogging on YouTube. He started making videos on YouTube since 2017 and currently has more than 100,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.[3][4][5][5] Other than YouTuber, he is a professional esports athlete.[6] In 2020, Iftekhar Rafsan (Rafsan the Chotobhai) was awarded the "Top content creator of the Year (2019)" by state ICT Minister of Bangladesh, Zunaid Ahmed Palak.[7]

Early life and career

Iftekhar Rafsan was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh.[1] He studied Computer Science and Technology at a private university called Independent University, Bangladesh.[8] The biggest reason Iftekhar is a well-known food vlogger is that he presents good and bad food to everyone through YouTube. He goes to different places and encourages people to eat better and promotes different traditional foods.[9][10]

E-Sports career

Iftekhar Rafsan is also a professional esports athlete.[11][12] He's in-game name is Outlaw.[13][14][15] He has been playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on a competitive level since 2015 as well as representing Bangladesh in multiple foreign tournaments. His endeavor in the gaming scene started with casual Counter-Strike: Source back in 2011. In 2015, with the launch of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, he returned to the gaming scene. At the end of 2016, he was a part of the first Bangladeshi team, Nomads, to represent Bangladesh on international grounds in the CS: GO scene at the ESL Challengers 2016 where they placed 6th to 8th place. In 2017 again, Iftekhar represented Bangladesh with Xtreme Lungiz in Bangalore, India at the ASUS ROG Masters 2017.[16][17][18][19][20][21]

Television commercial (TVC)

Iftekhar Rafsan debuted in 2017 with Grameenphone “Stop Cyberbullying!” campaign which would later move on to go viral in social, later ending up featured in the “Ads of the World”.[22][23][24]
