History

Hydra Coco was founded in 2017 by Alejandro Gonzalez and David Montoto to promote a healthy lifestyle. The idea behind the inception was to create a unique line of nutritional drinks made from coconut as the driving ingredient.

Hydra Coco is a beverage brand with a focus on health and wellness, inspired by Gonzalez and Montoto's lifestyle and life events. Gonzalez is a highly active person who has been hitting the gym for over two decades. On the other hand, Montoto is a sports enthusiast who has played tennis for a better part of his life, having gone through life-changing procedures that included thyroid cancer and diabetes. Naturally, both the founders understood the influence of proper hydration and recovery, which inspired them to develop a sports and recovery drink powered by nature, leading to the start of Hydra Coco.
