Huy Nguyen (Vietnamese: Nguyễn Huy ) is a Vietnamese blockchain technology evangelist and entrepreneur. Huy Nguyen is the Co-founder of KardiaChain, the Southeast Asia's first interoperable blockchain infrastructure. Since 2022, Huy Nguyen is the Vice President of Vietnam Blockchain Association.
Career overview
Huy Nguyen was a senior Tech Lead Manager at Google, with over 10 years of experience building large-scale distributed infrastructures[1][2]. Huy and his team had successfully built the Google Access Wireless Platform and Google Fiber Network Infrastructure for the first time, helping millions of people access the internet from the most remote area worldwide. He is also part of the Next Billion Users Initiative project at Google.
After those milestones, Huy was ambitious to grow technology development in Vietnam. With the significant development of blockchain technology and its limitless potential in Vietnam, Huy and Tri Pham co-founded the KardiaChain, Southeast Asia's first interoperable blockchain infrastructure, rated top 10 technological trends in 2021 by Yahoo! Finance[3]. In 2021, Huy is amongst the top 10 CTO pioneers best-picked by VnExpress.[4]
In May 2022, Mr. Huy Nguyen was voted as the Vice President of the Vietnam Blockchain Association. In his Inauguration Speech, Huy stated that: “Along with the government's connected and timely attention, the establishment of the Association is a premise for improving competitiveness, promoting common development, and raising the value of Vietnamese Blockchain.[5] It will attract large investment funds from around the world and high-quality Vietnamese human resources from all over the world.”
