Hom Nguyen (born 20 September 1972 in Paris) is a French painter of Vietnamese origin. He lives and works in Paris.[1][2][3]

In 2009, the year of his mother's death, Hom Nguyen decided to devote himself to painting. Many collaborations will gradually guide him toward the world of design and especially art, such as the one with designer Ora-ïto in 2011.[4]

On the occasion of the 2016 edition of the contemporary art fair Paris Art Fair, organised at the Grand Palais in Paris, the President of the Republic François Hollande comes to recognise the work of the artist Hom Nguyen.

Since then, Hom Nguyen has devoted himself entirely to drawing and painting. His work on the representation of the human figure is presented in multiple solo and group exhibitions around the world through international contemporary art fairs.[5] The Bangkok Post indicates that the artist is the bearer of a dual western and eastern culture, and Hom Nguyen is working to open a wider cultural platform, a link between France and Asia.[6]

Hom Nguyen’s work is all about existential commitment. As proven by its recurring contributions to diverse causes: childhood,[7][8] underprivileged people,[9] the Hospital,[10] women in difficulty or victims of violence.[11]
