In 1999, Jackson became a pilot for Trans States Airlines, where he worked for seven years, during which he was a captain of the Jetstream 4100 and Embraer 145 Regional Jet. In 2006, Jackson joined Southwest Airlines, where he is currently serving as a captain of Boeing 737.[2]
