The name Hekka is inspired by the ancient Egyptian god of magic, Heka. The first symbol, pronounced as “h,” is a wick made from linen, a popular fabric in ancient Egypt, used to light lamps by dipping them into flammable liquid. Feb. 2022 – Hekka x Uplive New York Fashion Week
Hekka has established itself in the fashion community by participating in several globally regarded fashion shows and events worldwide. Hekka's put on its first live show during New York Fashion Week in partnership with its sister company Uplive. Many celebrities, such as the Canadian-South African model Maye Musk, Arci Muoz, Jacquees, Michael Coveto, Daniela Buenrostro, Charlize Chiu, and others, attended this event.[7][8]
Jul. 2022 – Hekka x Uplive Miami Swim Week
Hekka launched a viral runway show with the Uplive at Miami Swim Week, exhibited new designs, and unveiled "Style de Vie," a 25-piece capsule collection of essential swimwear.[9][10]
