Hathal is a small village of 1350 hectares in Reodar Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hathal depends on SIROHI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 100.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hathal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Hathal's pin code is 307511[4], and village code is 02379000. The area of Hathal is segregated as 187 hectares irrigated area, 87 hectares unirrigated, the 163 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 236 hectare area not available for cultivation.
