Harbor City Hemp is an American company that sells hemp-derived cannabinoid products. Its product range includes gummies, tinctures, vape cartridges, edibles, softgels, cannabinoid distillates and isolates, topical products, and products for pets. The company is based in Sanford, Florida, and operates an online store.[1]
History
Harbor City Hemp was established by Luke and Kiara, a married couple who describe their experiences with chronic pain as the motivation for starting the business. According to the company's account, Kiara experienced a herniated disc and persistent pain following a car accident in 2016. The couple subsequently explored hemp-derived products and decided to develop their own products. The founders describe the business as family-owned, with other family members participating in its operations.
Products
Harbor City Hemp sells products containing various cannabinoids, including cannabidiol (CBD), delta-8 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), delta-9 THC and cannabinol (CBN). Its catalogue includes gummies, chocolate edibles, tinctures, vape cartridges, disposable vapes, softgels, distillates, isolates and topical products. The company also offers pet products and vaping accessories.
Digital tools
Harbor City Hemp provides a collection of online calculators for cannabinoid formulation and concentration calculations. The tools are available free of charge and do not require user registration.
The calculators include a tincture formulation tool for calculating ingredient quantities in oil-based preparations, a vape blend calculator for determining the proportions of cannabinoids and terpenes in a mixture, and a delta-9 THC limit calculator for estimating THC concentration in relation to a specified threshold. The tincture calculator supports formulations containing up to ten cannabinoids, while the vape calculator accommodates different batch sizes and optional terpene additions.
The company states that the calculators account for the purity of source materials. It also advises users to verify calculations through appropriate measurement equipment and independent laboratory testing when developing products for commercial use. The website notes that calculations are not automatically saved. Harbor City Hemp maintains a gift-card page on its website as part of its online retail services.
Quality control
The company states that its products undergo third-party laboratory testing for cannabinoid potency and contaminants. It provides access to laboratory results through its website and states that its products contain no more than 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight.
