Haitam Saoud (هيتم سعود) (Born February 13, 2002) is a Moroccan socialite, environmental activist and women's right advocate who is locally known for his actions to reduce his school's carbon footprint. Saoud initially gained notice for his youth and his straightforward speaking manner. He was born into a an Upper class family,and has attended various social gatherings where he has called for stronger action on climate change, and has advocated for gender equality.
Haitam was born in Casablanca to upper class executives Abdellah Saoud and Rachida EL azhar. He was taught French (language) and is fluent in Arabic. He was given an elite education in French schools. He received several applause for his creative writing and support of progressive causes in a conservative country. He rose to prominence as one of the leader of the of what is considered to be one of Morocco's most important climate change rally[1][2][3] He's also shown his support to various causes such as Black Lives Matter, gender equality and LGBT rights by country or territory on his social media.
