Habib Hasim Mithiborwala

Habib Hasim Mithiborwala (Born on 17th June 1981) is an Indian Actor who appeared in Indian TV serials & Web-Series. He is known for his work in Indian television series such as Remix (TV series).

Early Life

Habib Hasim Mithiborwala was born on 17th June 1981 in Godhra, a Panchmahal district in Gujarat and was raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He completed his primary education from St. Mary’s High School in Kalina (Mumbai), his high school education from Holy Cross High School in Kurla west, Mumbai and his College from Rizvi College, Bandra west, Mumbai (India).

Career

He started his career with theatre, he learnt acting and direction under Mohan Azad who is a film director and writer of the film ‘Chandni Bar’. At the age of 21 he got a role of playing a comic character Nakul in serial Remix (TV series) which was directed by Goldie Behl, Bhooshan Patel & Iqbaal Rizzvi

In 2000, he got his first TV break in the serial Jeet (TV series) on StarPlus.

In 2001, he got his first hindi film, Tango Charlie, where he played a victim’s child with co-stars Bobby Deol and Ajay Devgan.

In 20022005, he played the comic role of Nakul in the serial REMIX on Star One (Indian TV channel).

Twice he appeared on Reality Show Khul Ja Sim Sim hosted by Aman Verma (actor) in 2008.

In 2009, he appeared on ‘Poker Face’ a reality show hosted by actor Sharman Joshi, and also appeared in another hindi movie ‘Raaz 2 - The Mystery Continues

In 26th July 2005, Mumbai floods Habib was trapped in his car for around 12 hours due to which he developed Compartment Syndrome where he spent 100+ days in hospital and two years on a wheelchair till 2007.[1] After recovery he shared the dance stage with Salman Khan in the reality show ‘Dus Ka Dum’ in year 2008.[2]

Personal Life

Habib married Alefiyah (a Pharmacist ) in 2009. Habib has a daughter who was born in 2010 [3]
