Production

Sidharth got the idea of writing a film after he thought about how it would look if the film was an action thriller which is 4 hours long and could be one-shot. But he later dropped the idea. IronSight Pictures and Lunar Motion Pictures will be producing the film. The film will be using a handheld camera. But also shot on a Samsung Note 20 Ultra, Samsung M04 and a Canon A480 AF.

Music[3]

Music will be done by Sidharth. He said " I want a theme that fits a thriller movie perfectly and that keeps the pace moving. I want something like how Anirudh Ravichander does, a kind of tone people likes yet fits the film perfectly." The album was released on 4th October 2023.[4]

Filming

Filming began on March 2023 and was paused in August for technical reasons and is gonna resume shooting on October and is expected to end on December 2023. Filming will occur in Montreal, Quebec and Ontario. The film is expected to be more than 4+ hours of footage that is gonna be cut down to 3 hours.

Post Production

Post Production will begin mid-January. The VFX will be done by MoonRise Visual Effects owned by IronSight. The visual effects will be expanded from the normal line of 1000+ shots to 3000+ because of its set extensions and bomb sequences but also has sequences of Prison, Police station and different countries that should all be done in Canada itself.

Release[1]

The film will be releasing on February 20 2023 worldwide on Amazon Prime Video. Apple TV and Netflix are also expected to release the film, but not yet confirmed. The film will be more than 3 hours but the extended cut is also gonna be released along with the official cut. The shorter version, which is expected to be 150 minutes for audiences who feels that shorter version is better for faster viewing of the film and will be cut with the lack of the flashback of the hero and the post credit sequences.
