Gustavo Martinez Pandiani (born May 12, 1966 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an Argentine politician, lawyer and diplomat.[1] He was the Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Barbados, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dominica, and Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States.[2]
Early life and education
Gustavo Martinez Pandiani was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on May 12, 1966. He attended the Universidad del Salvador where he studied political science and with a Diploma of honor. Shortly after, he received his law degree from the University of Buenos Aires, also with a Diploma of Honor. He obtained a Master in Public Administration (MPA) with a specialization in Political Communication at Harvard University. He was selected as an Edward S. Mason Fellow of the John F. Kennedy School of Government.[3]
In addition, he received a Master in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Strategic Marketing from Georgia State University, where he was distinguished as the Best Foreign Student 1995.
Career
Pandiani started his career at the Argentine Foreign Service Institute. As a career diplomat, he has represented Argentina in consular positions and missions abroad. He is a university professor of the training program for Young Leaders of the UPD-OAS and President of the Argentine Association of Political Marketing (AAMP). He currently serves as Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Social Communication at the Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he designed and directs the first Master's Degree in Political Communication (MCP) taught in Latin America.
In 2018, he was appointed Argentine Ambassador to Barbados where he served till 2020. He currently serves as a Director in the Argentine Foreign Ministry for Central America, the Caribbean and Mexico.[4][5]
