Grace Saif (born 7 October 1995) is a British actress known for playing Ani Achola on Netflix's TV series, 13 Reasons Why.[1][2][3]
Early life
Saif was born and grew up in Manchester before she moved to Crawley and attended Hazelwick School,[4] a few years below another notible attendee Erin Doherty. In 2013, Saif and Doherty took part in parallel dramatic performences with the Mostar Youth Theatre and Hazelwick School in Mostar[5]. After completing her GCE Advanced Level, Saif then went on to complete a BA in Acting at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where she recieved a bursery from British Academy of Film and Television Arts for £4,500.[6] Her British Academy of Film and Television Arts mentor was Billie Piper[6] and graduated from Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2017.[7][8]
Career
Saif made their acting debut in 2017 in a guest role as Angel Hurley on the BBC's soap opera Doctors (2000 TV series)[9][10] having previously taking part in a short film, Wilton in 2016.[citation needed] In 2018 she then secured a role in Night Out as well as having a voice role in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth.[11] A review by Blizzard Watch commented on Saif's performance as the character Abby in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth;

She is currently best known for her role in 13 Reasons Why as the character Ani Achola.[9][13][14]
She took part in a Right Here Festival event on the 29 January 2020 commissioned by Crawley Creatives.[15]
Personal Life
Social media bullying
In 2019, Saif faced online bullying through social media channels and subsequently deleted pictures on Instagram and restricted access to their Twitter account.[14][16][17][18]
