Gowhar Geelani is a Kashmiri journalist, author and commentator.[3][4]

His book Kashmir: Rage and Reason, published in 2019 provides critical analysis of the history, struggle for identity (in a context of violence), nationalism and sufferings by the Kashmiri people.[5]

Geelani's work has been published in BBC, Deutsche Welle, The Federal, Race and Class, The Telegraph, Outlook India, Economic and Political Weekly, India Today, Globe Post, Force Magazine and Defense Post.[6][7][8]
