Gorgi Naumovski is a Canadian-American businessman, specialist in logistics, construction, and design background. He is the co-owner and serves as the principal officer of Thrive Dispensaries in Illinois.[1]
Career
Naumovski's involvement in the cannabis industry is influenced by personal experiences, including a cancer diagnosis in 2008 that shaped his outlook on life.
Naumovski is the co-founder and general manager of Thrive Dispensary.[2][3] It is a medical and adult use Cannabis Dispensary|cannabis dispensary, which offers products from flowers, Topical medication|topicals, edibles, concentrates in different sizes, flavors, and other options. In April 2016, he opened a Thrive Dispensary branch in Harrisburg, Illinois, and another one in Anna, Illinois, in May 2016.[4]
MariMed Inc, a medical cannabis consulting firm, purchased Thrive Dispensary's ownership by purchasing Harrisburg, and Anna, Illinois, branches in October 2016.[5] Naumovski now operates and manages all the branches in partnership with MariMed Inc.[4] He and his wife opened a Thrive facility in Mount Vernon, Illinois.[6][7][8][9]
In 2020, he launched dispensary in the retail market in Ontario|Ontario, Canada, under the brand Pioneer Cannabis Co with its first operation located in Burlington, Ontario|Burlington.[10]
He is associated with MariMed, a multi-state cannabis operator, and Good Zen Dispensary, reflecting his engagement in both the production and retail aspects of the legal cannabis market in Canada.
