Godana is a small village of 1450 hectares in Sheoganj Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Godana depends on SHEOGANJ, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 58.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Godana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Godana's pin code is 307028[4], and village code is 02347700. The area of Godana is segregated as 108 hectares irrigated area, 1190 hectares unirrigated, remaining 152 hectare area not available for cultivation.
