Glenn Cook is the Assistant General Manager/Vice President of Player Personnel for the Cleveland Browns.[1].
In his fifth season with the Cleveland Browns, Cook played a pivotal role in ending the team's 17-year playoff drought and leading them to the divisional round with a wild card victory over Pittsburgh. Despite working under three different general managers, Cook has consistently risen through the ranks in Cleveland. When he joined the Browns, they had the first overall pick in the draft and successfully acquired defensive end Myles Garrett, a four-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro. The following year, Cleveland secured running back Nick Chubb, another four-time Pro Bowler, in the second round[2]

Prior to the NFL:
Cook was a standout linebacker for the University of Miami[4]. After graduating, he began his coaching career as a graduate assistant for the Miami Hurricanes, focusing on coaching the linebackers. During his senior year in college, Cook led the team in tackles, served as a team captain, and received the Plumer Memorial (leadership, motivation, spirit) and Dale Melching (leadership) awards.
In addition to his football career, Cook was selected as the 46th-round pick by the Chicago Cubs in 2009. He played 34 minor league games before deciding to return to football. Cook is also a self-taught musician, specializing in playing the keyboard.[5]
Cook holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and management from the University of Miami, as well as a master's degree in sports administration.
