Giulio Gomes is a Dutch contemporary artist, digital artist, and graphic designer.

He is known for using various mediums, such as spray paint, ink and oil paint on his canvas works.

In 2022 Giulio Gomes will launch his long-awaited NFT collection

Early life

Giulio Gomes was born on 14 February 1992. He grew up in Amsterdam, Netherlands. After having been a professional football player, having played for FC Utrecht, he started to focus on creating art.

Art career

In 2004 Giulio Gomes started with Graffiti. After evolving his street art style he made a transition in 2010 to art on canvas. Using acrylic paint, Spray can|spray cans and ink his style turned more Abstract art|abstract over the following years.

I never told her

The four-year process of creating I never told her culminated in the creation of four unique art pieces in 2018. This art collection is inspired by his first love and his heartbreak over losing her. He says: "Being in love with someone so deeply has made me feel very fortunate. Grief is the price we pay for love. " I never tol her constist of 4 unique Painting. Pure paintings filled with raw emotions, with an urban edge.

After having done international Exhibition in Europe he then specialised in Digital art.

Fresh_Fruit NFT

In 2022 Giulio Gomes will launch his long-awaited Fresh_Fruit Non-fungible token. This collection consists of multiple different fruit series. Every month there will be a new fruit available. Banana being the first series. Each series concsist of different rarity levels, ranging from Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary. What makes the Legendary Banana a super rare NFT is that every NFT is a unique 1 of 1 art piece, meaning no copies.

With this project, he wants to make a difference by bringing attention to the issue of unhealthy lifestyles that affect so many people's lives in more significant ways than they think. The Fresh_Fruit Non-fungible token|NFT collection is an attempt to connect with people in a new way to raise awareness and inspire people to live healthier lifestyles.

Style

2004/2011 In his early days Giulio Gomes first started making Graffiti, Painting on waste wood and discarded canvases. In his Painting, Giulio Gomes used colour as an expressive element, but also relied on street art elements rather to create form and space.

2013/2018 Later Giulio Gomes evolved his style and his works became more Abstract art but you can steel see influences and elements from his Graffiti background. He uses different mediums to transform texture of the paint. Most of his painting were done at night on rooftops and in emergency exits.

2016/2022 Around 2016 was when Giulio Gomes slowly transition into digital art.
