The National Institute for the Study and Treatment of Cancers - Giovanni Pascale Foundation is a scientific hospitalization and treatment institute (IRCCS) based in Naples.[1][2]

History

Since 1936 the institute has progressively expanded the spaces and from an original building, currently reserved for Research Laboratories, it has extended into four buildings in which the administrative offices, the hospital wards, the research laboratories, the for outpatient and day hospital activities. In 2020 it was merged with the Ascalesi hospital and Crom di Mercogliano, becoming a seat of the "Mediterranean Oncological Pole".[3]
