Giacomo Spoladore, best known as James D. Dawson (born 11 April, 2000) is an Italy|Italian film director, producer and editor.
Early life
Giacomo Spoladore[1] was born on April 11, 2000 in Legnago, Italy. He lives in Borgo Veneto.
From 2014 to 2019 he attended the Linguistic High School in Este, Veneto|Este.
Since 2019 he's studying Political Sciences at the University of Padua.
Carrer
Spoladore, professionally known as James D. Dawson, is an Italian filmmaker, writer, and political figure. He founded Dawson Films in 2014, producing short films. His early works included A Cinderella Advertisement, a parody of the 2015 Cinderella trailer, which featured classmates who became frequent collaborators in his projects. Other notable works include documentaries such as Persone e Personaggi: Este dal 1800 al 2021, Romanzo di una vita, La Scuola Mobile all’Aperto: 100 anni dopo, and Vittorio Sgarbi - Una vita al massimo.[2]
In 2021, he published his book DAWSON FILMS: Dentro la Magia, offering insights into the behind-the-scenes aspects of his productions.[3]
Spoladore is also recognized for his collaboration with singer-songwriter Prof. Alex Fusaro, directing the music video Lezioni Online, which has garnered over one million views.[4]
Spoladore is also engaged in politics, collaborating with figures such as former MP Giulia Narduolo and art critic Vittorio Sgarbi. In April 2023, he ran for the local office in Borgo Veneto.
