Gamestream is a privately held technology company founded in 2015 by Ivan Lebeau and Olivier Lebigot[1]. and specialized in streaming video game solutions – known also as Cloud Gaming.

History

In 2014, Ivan Lebeau founded a consulting company named Prodeo enabling traditional medias and video game companies to build successful partnerships. He was later joined by Olivier Lebigot to provide technical expertise.

A project idea emerges, which is inspired by the video game "Remission" designed with the aim of helping patients to fight their diseases through a psychosomatic effect. "Healing through video games" is the goal.[2].

Technology

The H. 265 codec is also designed with low-latency applications in mind, and it provides the ability to partition video frames into regions called slices. On operations, games are installed and hosted on remote servers which take care of real-time rendering of the image and sound before broadcasting it directly to a screen via an Internet connection.
