Ali Grey born (5 January 1995), professionally known as GRY is an American Serial Entrepreneur, DJ and Music Producer. GRY is best known for producing electronic music. GRY rose to prominence with his hybrid DJ sets in Taipei in 2016 exhibiting his unique production skills and impressive entrepreneurial accolades.[1][2] He is best known for his work in Now or Never, which he composed with Thomas Gold and Nevve.[3][4][5][6][7]

GRY’s songs are available on all the music platforms including Spotify, YouTube Music, and Soundcloud. He has been featured in major outlets including Mixmag Asia, EDM.COM, Your EDM.[8][9][10][11]

Early life and education

GRY was born on 5 January 1995 in London. He grew up in London and later moved to Taiwan. He has also spent a part of his childhood in Turkey. He is of British-Turkish descent.

Career

GRY started his hobby as a DJ 2016 in Taipei mixing tracks from his bedroom. Soon he gained recognition for his DJ sets that incorporate elements of trap, drum & bass, and old-school dubstep.[12][13]

GRY has collaborated with the vocal project Nevve that is based in Los Angeles, CA. This project aims at unifying multiple songwriters and vocalists in order to release unique songs. GRY in 2021, along with Thomas Gold and Nevve released an uplifting anthem titled “Now Or Never” which as of 2021 has been signed to KSHMR’s Dharma Worldwide / Spinnin’ Records.[14][15][16]
