Felipe Antonio B. Remollo also known as Ipe Remollo (born February 13, 1961)[1] is a Filipino lawyer and politician currently serving as the Mayor of Dumaguete, Negros Oriental in Central Visayas Region.[2][3][4][5]
Education
He studied at Silliman University from Elementary until College where he finished a degree in Political Science. He went to Ateneo de Manila University|Ateneo De Manila University for Law School.[6]

Controversies
In 2021, he proposed a P23-Billion Reclamation Project[8] along Dumaguete City’s 174 hectare shoreline[9] that will directly affect Dumaguete's Marine Protected Areas[10]; activists, environmentalists, and local community declared a resounding disapproval[11] to the proposed reclamation project and sparked an opposition #NoTo174DumagueteReclamation[12].
