Evan Tzivanakis (born July 3, 1979) is an award-winning Greek executive coach, leadership development specialist, professor, author, and management consultant, recognized for his ability to help companies and professionals develop the skills and strategies needed for success. He is the founder and leadership development coach at Executive Coach Asia. In addition to coaching, Tzivanakis serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at EU Business School.[1][2]

Before founding Executive Coach Asia, Tzivanakis accumulated a wealth of experience in international business, holding key leadership roles at renowned companies such as Appco UK and IronFX. He is also a published author of the book "LEADING IN VUCA TIMES: Elevate Your Influence, Empower Your Team."[3][4]

Tzivanakis has been honored as the Best Sales Coach in 2023 and the Best Career Coach in 2022 by The Coach Foundation. His work has been featured in several media outlets, such as Ivy Exec,[5] Marketing In Asia,[6] and CEO Secrets for Executive Strategy.

Early life and education

Tzivanakis was born in Athens and raised in Samos, Greece. He attended the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland to complete his associate’s degree in hospitality business management. In 2004, he completed his master’s in business administration in international business management from Leeds Beckett University, United Kingdom.

Career

After completing his master’s, Tzivanakis worked as the branch managing director for Appco UK from 2004 to 2011.[7] He oversaw all operational aspects and established two offices, leading a staff of 75+. Tzivanakis provided daily training and coaching to contractors resulting in improved service delivery and a 20% increase in sales revenue within six months. Additionally, he spearheaded the company's successful expansion through effective business development strategies and tactics.[8][9]

In 2012, Tzivanakis joined IronFX as the regional director. At IronFX, he directed business operations, managed sales leadership for over 300 personnel across six regional offices in Sydney, and offered coaching services to improve sales performance.[10] He increased business development in the APAC region, and implemented a L&D program, resulting in a 28% increase in sales productivity and a 20% decrease in turnover rate within six months, leading to an overall increase in sales revenue.[11]

In 2017, Tzivanakis established Executive Coach Asia and started working as a full-time learning and development executive coach for companies, and individuals. He creates and delivers virtual and classroom learning programs to tackle specific challenges and leverage proven frameworks to enhance performance, communication, and effectiveness. By partnering with key stakeholders, he customized a training program that led to a 30% increase in employee performance and a 27% rise in customer satisfaction ratings. Tzivanakis also designed a leadership development program that increased employee engagement scores by 70% within the first year and reduced turnover by 20% in the targeted population.[12]

In addition to being an executive coach, Tzivanakis is an Adjunct Faculty member at EU Business School, Geneva.[13] He teaches Leadership, Management, and Career topics to business graduates, prepares course activities, grades assignments, and collaborates with the facilitation team. Tzivanakis also develops assignments and learning activities to promote intellectual, personal, and professional growth in students and gives keynote speeches.[14][15]

Tzivanakis is also a member of the Toastmasters International since 2019.

As a published author, Tzivanakis released his first book, “LEADING IN VUCA TIMES: Elevate Your Influence, Empower Your Team” in March 2023.[16] The book offers a comprehensive guide to leadership in the 21st century, incorporating the latest insights and wisdom from experts in the field.[17]
