Evan Yiting Chen (Chinese: 陳誼廷) is a math graduate student at MIT and a professional math olympiad training coach. In 2014, he competed at the International Mathematical Olympiad as a member of the Taiwan delegation. He scored 36 out of 42 points and won a gold medal.[1] Evan Chen graduated from Irvington High School in 2014 and studied Mathematics at Harvard University before transferring to MIT in 2015 where he completed his Bachelor of Mathematics and is currently working on his dissertation.Since 2015, he has been the director of an olympiad training program for high school students preparing for math olympiads.[2] He has also published a book on olympiad geometry.
