Euan Blair is a British tech-entrepreneur.

Biography

Euan Blair was born in 1984 to British Prime Minister, Tony Blair and Cherie Blair (nee Booth).[1] He is their eldest child. His grandfathers were Leo Blair and Tony Booth (actor). His uncle is William Blair (judge). He studied in Bristol and Yale, becoming an investment banker with Morgan & Stanley in 2008. In 2013, Blair married Suzanne Ashman, a venture capitalist and daughter of British motor racing entrepreneur Jonathan Ashman.

In 2000, Blair was arrested for being drunk and incapable at Leicester Square. Celebrating the end of his GCSE examinations, he was found lying alone on the ground by a patrolling police officer and had been vomiting and ill. He was released without charge at 1 a.m and driven home.[2]

In 2014, the Huffington Post claimed that Blair had been selected for a British Labour ‘ultra safe seat’ ahead of the 2015 UK General election|2015 UK General Election.[3]

He co-founded Multiverse with Sophie Adelman, an education start up.[4] As of 2020, he owned 40% of the business. In 2021, he received £65 million in a funding round for Multiverse.[5][6][7][8][9] He has acted as its CEO.[10][11][12][13][14]

In 2021, he was appointed to a government task force aiming to improve socio-economic diversity in financial services. The task force was run by the City of London Corporation.[15]
