Eric Feichthaler, Jr. has published three books detailing his visits to US National Parks. Eric published his first edition at age 15 after visiting 48 of the 63 US National Parks. His book was a compilation of the journal he has kept since his first visit to Grand Canyon National Park when he was 8. Libraries and patrons around the world have purchased his book which appeals to kids, teens and families who love nature.[1]

Eric has now visited 61 National Parks and has published a second and third edition of his book. He also runs a companion YouTube Channel showcasing his national park photography, offering travel tips and suggestions and interviews with other national park enthusiasts worldwide. Feichthaler published his second edition as a high school sophomore covering even more US National Parks.[4] TOTI Media, the premier magazine group in Lee County, featured Eric on the cover of its January 2021 and featured many of his original photographs in its spread. [5]

Eric Feichthaler Jr. distinguished himself as a leader in history and geography starting in elementary school. He was the first person from Oasis Middle School to ever qualify for the National Geographic Bee Regional Finals, and he was the first person at Oasis Middle School to ever qualify for the National History Bee Regional Finals.[6]

Feichthaler also has a keen interest in amusement parks and created and manages a YouTube Channel dedicated to all things amusement park. His page has over 1,250 subscribers and features videos, rankings and interviews about amusement parks all over the world. Theme Park Avenue - YouTube[7]
