Earnest Lewis (born October 8th, 1999), is a Canadian-American entrepreneur and bestselling author. He is best known for his writing and publishing skills, and has released over 20 books as of 2021. Earnest is also a publisher and a licensed literary agent who aids children in pursuing their proper education.[1]

With the publication of his children's books, Lewis has established a reputation as the “imagination activist”, helping children reach their full potential in life by opening the door to their imagination. He is best quoted by his phrase “Your imagination is only what you make of it.” (Lewis). Some of his most notable works include The Smallest Roads Are Where Dreams Begin,[2] The Journey of the Little Brown Boy, The Boy Who Brought His Mind to Life, and The Silent Magic of Prosperity.

Earnest also has substantial prior public relations experience and has worked with numerous clients to diversify their sales channels, create brand awareness programs, and gain more traction for their businesses. Lewis has been recognized and featured in several international media outlets for his achievements as a 22-year-old.[3]

Early life and education

Earnest was born on October 8th, 1999 to Christina Lewis and Christopher Lewis. Since childhood, Earnest had a knack for writing and imagination, and at the age of 9, he was first published in the Flint newspaper.

Lewis began his elementary education at Pierce Elementary before later enrolling into Willow Woods Elementary. From there, he continued his education at OW Best Middle School, West Middle School, Truman High School, Carman Ainsworth, and lastly, graduated from Creekside high school.

Earnest is currently enrolled at Georgia State University where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience with a concentration in psychology, along with also pursuing a degree in biology from Gordon State College simultaneously.

Career

Earnest started his career with the release of his first book “Living Through Your Imagination” at the age of 18. Since then, he has published over twenty books aimed at all audiences. His novels strive to give young brains the freedom to dream big and live without boundaries.[4]

Earnest is also the founder of the organization Moonlight Scholars, which focuses on enhancing children's imagination, as well as their ability to read and write. The Moonlight Scholars specializes in teaching others important life lessons through imagination. Lewis has released a number of works under this imprint that link imagination to real-world themes such as self-love, hope, determination, and prosperity. Earnest’s books are placed in over 50 stores including Walmart, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Books A Million, and Target.[5]

Apart from that, Earnest is also a regular volunteer and spends his time participating in various education-related community projects. Earnest often reads to children at schools, volunteers at shelters, and takes clients under his aid in publishing new works.

Personal life

Earnest spends most of his time writing books whilst finding new ways to enhance his writing and imagination skills. Through the day, he is often spotted at libraries, schools, and various food shops. Though Earnest was diagnosed with severe asthma at an early age, today, he is in excellent condition with his health. Earnest is a descendant from both the Lewis and Hurst families.
