ENRA Group is the parent company of three brands providing specialist financial services and products. The Group first entered the specialist finance market back in 2002, and was formed in 2013.[1].

Organization and structure

ENRA Group is a privately held company[2] and majority shareholders include Exponent Private Equity, which acquired a majority stake in ENRA Group in 2016[3].

ENRA Group operates three businesses in specialist property finance; Enterprise Finance[4], West One Loans and Vantage Finance.

The Group currently employs almost 200 staff, originating £1billion of mortgages p.a and generating £30m EBITDA.

History

The origins of the ENRA Group begin at Enterprise Finance[5]. Danny Waters joined Enterprise Finance a year after it was established in 2002[6], becoming Managing Director in 2005.

ENRA Group was created with the launch of lending business Aura Finance in 2013.

West One Loans was founded externally in 2005 and acquired by ENRA Group with investment from private equity firm Livingbridge in 2014[7]. West One Loans has since then incorporated the operations of Aura Finance.

In 2016, Exponent Private Equity acquired a majority stake in the ENRA Group for an undisclosed sum[8]. In 2018, ENRA Group completed the acquisition of specialist lending distributor Vantage Finance, founded in 2004[9]

Through acquisitions and expansion, ENRA Group gained a spot on the list on the Financial Times’ FT1000 ‘The complete list of Europe’s fastest growing companies’ in 2018[10] and both the Financial Times’ Fast Track and Profit Track 100 throughout 2014-2017[11].
