DuoBoard (also known as the CP series) is an interactive Flat-panel display that was designed, developed, and marketed by the BenQ Corporation for enterprise use.[1]. It was officially released in 2019[2].

Naming

The CP series was branded as the DuoBoard for its dual modes[1]:

  • Duo Boards – Two side-by-side DuoBoards can be linked to double the work area.
  • Duo OS – Another operating system or program can be run using a floating window on top of the existing workspace.
  • Duo Windows – The DuoBoard screen can be split in two to accommodate the simultaneous use of two Application software.
  • Duo Users – Multiple touch points allow two or more users to use the board simultaneously.

Operating system

The DuoBoard runs on Android Oreo[4]. It has an Open Pluggable Specification|OPS slot for an expansion Personal computer|PC that can be used to run other operating systems on the display[5].

Testing and certification

The DuoBoard has undergone testing and has been certified for reliability and efficacy by Technischer Überwachungsverein and the SIAA[6][7].

Reception

The DuoBoard won the Best of Show Award at AV Technology’s InfoComm 2020 Connected[8]. It has also been listed as a hardware device partner of Amazon Web Services|AWS[9], Microsoft Azure|Azure[10], and VMware|VMWare[11]
