The Driven Project is a nonprofit organization founded in 2018 by Kevin Jeffrey Gordon in British Columbia, Canada. It provides 'Supercar Therapy' for kids who are going through heavy life challenges[1] On Driven Project Event days they surprise kids with a ride in a fleet of supercars with a full police escort. The goal of the charity is to provide sick kids an adrenaline filled experience that will provide them with a temporary escape.

History

After Gordon sold his tech company in 2018[2] he bought his dream car, a Lamborghini Huracan Performante. Once Kevin purchased the car he quickly wanted to find a way to share the experience with others while giving back to the community.[3] His goal creating the Driven project was to make kids dreams of riding in supercars come true and to give them a bit of motivation to keep pushing through the hard times.

Process

Kids are nominated by sources who know the child well and believe they would be a good fit[4]

Partnerships

  • Your Story Agency[5]
