Dr Catherine Davies, known as Dr Cathy, is a Medical Doctor with mention Bachelor of Medicine, MBBCH, know as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery with special mention Wits 1998, for her ability to use words or ideas in an amusing, clever and imaginative way. Also, she is starting her own line of cosmetics for skin and hair in partnership with Natuderma in USA.
Dr Cathy is the Lead Educator and lecturer for PRF Edu in United States and lectures in both Florida and California regularly.
Dr Cathy is a published author of the book “PRF in Facial Aesthetics” by Quintessence Publishing 2019. She is a co-author of the book “Understanding PRF” 2021[1] and a recent paper “Towards the Development of Novel Biological Facial Fillers”
Dr Cathy has her own TV series based on her own life and medical practice. She featured in and produced Outpatients[2], which is currently airing Season 3 in Fox South Africa, Discovery Channel in Brazil and Discovery Channel in Spain, and around her show is also aired all around the world. Her passion is to drive social change through the use of media. She has had cameo roles in the TV series “Pirates” (History (American TV network)|History Channel), “Moonchild (MTV) and Stories Untold (SABC 2|SABC2)
Dr Cathy currently serves on the boards of Peptide Clinics SA[3] and Brand Quantum and proudly supports Project Restore.
