Dr. Samuel Bride is a physician, a father, a husband and a tennis enthusiast.[1] He is currently working as the Medical Director of UMD Urgent Care in Long Island City, New York. At UMD Urgent Care, he helps patients as an urgent care physician and is also in charge of managing the clinic.[2][3]
Early Life and Education
Dr. Samuel Bride first attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in 1995. During his time there, he was involved in sports and was a Division I tennis player. After graduating, he went on to attend the Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. There, he earned his Medical Degree in 2006.
Career
Dr. Samuel Bride has been helping his patients as an urgent care physician for many years. Currently, he is the Medical Director of UMD Urgent Care in Long Island City, New York.[4] There, he has been responsible for not only taking care of his patients, but also managing staff and overseeing the operations of the clinic.[5][6]
Philanthropy
Dr. Samuel Bride has always had a passion for charity work. For the past decade, he has volunteered as a visiting fellow at Lamtoro Medical Clinic in West Africa. He has also volunteered as a physician for the last few years with UNHCR at a Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan.[7][8]
Further, through the Dr. Samuel Bride Scholarship for Medical Students, Samuel is aiming to boost awareness for the struggles that medical students[9] must undergo and also to provide scholarship funding to a deserving student[10] who is on their journey to becoming a doctor.[11]
