Dr. Marf Omar Gul was born in the 1956 in the village of Hashezini in the Sangaw sub-district of Chamchamal district, in 1956 Dr. Marf Omar Gul Graduated from the College of Law in Baghdad, in 1982 and after a year, he was appointed as an employee in the Irrigation Directorate in Slemani Governorate , Dr. Marf Omar Gul was arrested in 1982 because of his political stances and imprisoned in the General Security prisons in Baghdad,In 1990 he obtained a master's degree at the University of Kyiv in Ukraine, Dr. Marf Omar Gul was the first person to write a master's letter about the genocide that the people of Kurdistan were subjected to,In 1995 he received his Ph.D. at Kyiv University,In 1999, he worked as a professor at the University of Slemani ,From 2011 to 2015 Dr. Marf Omar Gul was appointed as the Dean of the Law College in Koya University, and from 2005 to 2006 he was appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Slemani.
