Chief Dr. Agrippa O. Ezozo (Hon.) (born April 24, 1957) is a Nigerian-born American human resources executive, nonprofit leader, and peace and human rights advocate. He is the founder and president of the African Diaspora Foundation (ADF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting peace education and human rights awareness. He previously served as Director of Human Resources at the Venice Family Clinic, a healthcare organization affiliated with the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).[1]
Background & Education
Dr. Ezozo began his professional journey as a teacher in Nigeria after graduating from Wudil Teacher’s College in Kano State. He later relocated to the United States in 1981, where he pursued higher education and earned:
- A Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from California State University, Dominguez Hills
- A Master’s degree in African Area Studies and Public Policy from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)
Leadership & Career
Dr. Ezozo is the Founder and President of The African Diaspora Foundation (ADF),[2] a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting peace, human rights, and education within African and global communities. Through ADF, he has championed peace education initiatives and global dialogue centered on justice, equity, and cultural understanding.[3]
He has also served in several leadership and professional roles, including:
- Former President of the UCLA Black Faculty and Staff Association
- Former Co-Chair of the California Delegation to the National Summit on Africa
- Human Resources professional with the UCLA Health System
- Community publisher and advocate, including work with The Black Church Review and the League of Patriotic Nigerians
Recognition
In recognition of his decades of service and advocacy, Dr. Ezozo was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Peace and Humanitarian Education in 2024, honoring his global impact in peacebuilding and community development.[4]

Ezozo is married to Sylvia Litana Ezozo. They reside in California and have two children.
