Early Life
Dion Richardson was born on June 09, 2000, in Slough, Berkshire, UK. He developed a passion for Taekwondo at the young age of 5, where he started out at his local Taekwondo club. Richardson attended The Westgate School in Slough, where he studied for his GCSE's and A Level exams.
University Career
Richardson attended St Mary's University where he was a sports scholar and graduated with a degree in Business Management with Accounting [1]. During his University career, he made a significant impact on the University's success in Taekwondo being the first student to represent St Mary's University at the EUSA Combat Games [2]. Known for his versatile playing style and ability to score in the most unexpected ways, he quickly became a hot favorite for every tournament and finished his University career in 2022 with a total of 3 Gold medals, 1 Silver medal, and 1 bronze medal with a total of 680 points scored and only 175 conceded across 3 years[3].
