Dr. Dinesh Khedkar is one of the nationally acknowledged Botanist and Career Counsellor for Science Students of India. He is a thinker and thought leader, researcher, innovator, educator, author, and experimental teacher. He is teaching Botany as a Professor at Shri Shivaji Science College, Amravati, Maharashtra, India.[1] He is awarded with the Best Teacher Award for the year 2019.

Currently, he is the Secretary of Asian Association for Biology Association (India). He is the Member of the Board of Studies in Botany for Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati.[2] He is widely known for his lucid talks on Molecular Biology, Environment, Career Counselling, Personality Development, etc. He is elected as the President of Amravati Garden Club, Amravati since 2018.[3] He is associated with Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangha, New Delhi Member of Prashikshan Prakoshtha and Media Sah Pramukh for its Maharashtra State Higher Education Wing.[4]

Career

Dr. Dinesh Khedkar has started his career as Lecturer in Botany at Vidyabharati Mahavidyalaya, Amravati during the year 1998 to 2021. Later he joined Govt Vidarbha Institute of Science and Humanities, Amravati as Lecturer in Botany (2001 to 2005). Presently he working at Shri Shivaji Science College, Amravati, Maharashtra, India as a Professor in Botany since 2005.
