David Galperin (born May 22, 1983) is an Israeli entrepreneur, sales and marketing expert, financial planner, trainer, author, and real estate broker.[1] He is the founder of Gil Group, a group of companies in the field of marketing communications and media. Galperin also founded SMPS Marketing, which builds and optimizes sales processes for companies and organizations. He also serves as a lecturer and trainer at various colleges, companies, and institutions focusing on marketing, finance, sales improvement and advertising lessons.[2]

Galperin’s success story is widely recognized as an inspirational story of a boy who grew up poor but achieved success and wealth through his determination and hard work.

Early life and education

Galperin was born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine. Till the age of eight, he attended Jewish schools and, at thirteen, attended school in Toronto, Canada. Galperin relocated to Israel when he was fifteen old. Galperin holds three bachelor's diplomas in marketing, real estate, and finance. From 2002 to 2004, he pursued his degree in marketing management at the Israel Academy of Marketing & Advertising.

Galperin also undertook various media, marketing, financial planning, entrepreneurship, management, and real estate courses from the Israeli Centre for Management, Raanana Academy, and Bnei Brak Business Assistance and Promotion Center.

Career

Galperin started working at a young. He is known to have switched over 26 jobs during his initial two years of employment, focusing on marketing, media, and communications.[3]

In 1999, Galperin founded Gil Group, formerly known as Pirsum Gil. Gil Group started as a licensed dealer and, in 2006, transitioned into a limited company. The company was established as a publicity and advertising company that provides marketing communication services in the ultra-orthodox sector, branded gifts to businesses, and print productions for the general sector. The company has expanded its operations into five divisions: Gil Advertising, Gil Street, Gil Gift, Gil Print, and Gil Digital. Over the years, with his diverse skill sets, Galperin has managed to grow the company to an annual turnover of 60 million ILS, working with more than 5000 clients.

In 2008 David published a book about marketing communications and media. His book - the first of its kind in Israel - provides advertisers and consumers with the opportunity to get a glimpse of the inside of the orthodox advertising industry.

In 2017, Galperin founded SMPS Marketing, which focuses on developing and improving sales processes for companies and organizations. The name SMPS is an acronym for Smart Marketing Process Solutions. Some notable clients SMPS has worked with include Smart-Media Points, Hamevaser Newspaper and Ezer Mizion.

Galperin has worked on collaboration projects as a real estate agent and broker for other companies. Due to his vast knowledge, experience, and competence in marketing, sales, media, and finance, Galperin is also a professional lecturer and trainer in the subjects mentioned above for several colleges, businesses, and institutions.

Galperin has expertise working with enterprises in the fintech and financial solutions industries, including a cutting-edge system for loan exchanges between banks and taxi drivers. Denefit ITM LTD, which concentrates on the real estate industry and offers a range of services and investment options, is one of the numerous firms in which David plays or has played a role.
